Made from wood plastic composite (WPC), DUMA® Premium Composite Door is designed for long-lasting use and can be handled much like a natural wood door: it can be sawn, sanded, and painted or varnished. It has a natural wood-like appearance with polymer benefits including termite and water resistance, resistance to decay, and improved dimensional stability.

In addition to the standard sizes listed below, DUMA® doors can also be customized to suit your specific requirements. We accept custom-sized door orders with no minimum purchase quantity. For custom widths, the maximum allowable width is 92 cm, while for the height (or length) of the door, we recommend a maximum of 300 cm.

Tipe Routing

The appearance and surface resembling natural wood is a distinct advantage of DUMA® doors, allowing them to be routered (carved) according to your desired design. Moreover, DUMA® doors can also be equipped with glass panels or aluminum strip accents, allowing you to be creative and design the door according to your imagination.

Finishing

In addition to the available color choices, all DUMA® Premium Wall and Ceiling Panel products can also be finished using paint or other finishing materials. It's important to note that if you choose to coat DUMA® panels with paint, the natural wood grain texture of the product might potentially be covered. This additional finishing process is optional and not necessary if you desire a natural wood grain appearance and do not wish to incur extra costs or time for finishing. Essentially, DUMA® Panels are designed to not require additional finishing, allowing them to be directly installed as a covering for your walls or ceilings.

Ducco

The most popular finishing option for DUMA® composite doors is using Ducco paint

Ducco coating can be applied by spraying (using a spray gun) or by brush painting.

Ducco coating can provide a minimalist or elegant look for your door. It offers an unlimited range of color options, allowing you to customize according to your needs. Below, you can see some examples of DUMA® composite door appearances after being coated with Ducco:

Melamine

Finishing doors with Melamine is widely used because Melamine paint products are relatively easy to obtain, and the application process is quick and straightforward.

Using Melamine as a finishing material can help display the wood grain effect on the door, providing a more natural and elegant appearance. Similar to Ducco, Melamine finishing also offers an unlimited range of color options – you can create custom colors according to your preferences.

Laminating

Laminating is a surface finishing process in which a plastic laminate sheet is applied to a door panel using heat and pressure to ensure a strong, secure bond. The advantages of laminated finishing include a fast application process, relatively affordable pricing, and a wide variety of textures and colors. DUMA® Doors offers door laminating services with a diverse selection of textures and colors.

Below, you can explore the available textures and colors for the laminated finish of DUMA® composite doors.

Lamination enhances the appearance of your door while extending its lifespan. Laminate sheets are durable and long-lasting, offering resistance to impact, minor scratches, and color fading, provided they are not exposed to direct sunlight continuously. DUMA® composite doors use plastic film for the lamination process, which helps improve termite resistance, extend the door’s service life, and enhance its overall appearance.

Others

Some other finishing options include veneer, polyurethane, and unfinished (without finishing).

Veneer finishing is achieved by applying a thin layer of natural wood to the entire door surface using adhesive. The main advantage of veneer finishing is its authentic wood-grain appearance, as the surface layer is made from real wood.

Door Frame

To complement your DUMA® doors, a wide range of door frames is available in various sizes and designs. All door frames are also made from WPC, offering the same benefits and durability as DUMA® doors.

DUMA® door frames can be handled just like natural wood frames. They can be sawed, sanded, and finished with a variety of coating materials, just like DUMA® composite doors.

Installation

To achieve a perfect and neat installation, we recommend having your DUMA® Premium Wall & Ceiling Panel installed by our authorized distributors or applicators. Alternatively, you can install the DUMA® Premium Wall & Ceiling Panel yourself by following the installation instructions provided below, available in both video and written formats.

Handling & Storage

Handle and store DUMA® Premium Composite Door carefully so it remains in good condition before, during, and after installation. Follow these guidelines:

1. Lift the door when moving it; do not slide or drag it.

2. Keep the door away from sharp objects, including knives, utility blades, and scissors.

3. Before installation, place the door horizontally on a flat, clean surface. Do not lean it against a wall.

4. Keep the door away from fire and other heat sources.

5. Protect the door from direct sunlight.

6. Avoid impacts and unevenly distributed loads.

7. Carry out painting and paint drying indoors, away from direct sunlight.
